Shift Information:
5/8 Day Shift is Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:30pm
4/9 + 1/4 Shift is Mon-Fri 7:00am-4:30pm & Fri 7:00-11:00am
4/10 Day Shift is Mon-Thurs 5:50am-4:20pm
4/10 Swing Shift is Mon-Thurs 4:10pm-2:40am
3/12 Weekend Shift is Fri-Sun 5:00am-5:30pm
Machinist - 4/10 Day & Swing Shift and 3/12 Weekend Shift:
Minimum 2 yrs. experience with set ups, operations and troubleshooting of 3, 4, or 5 axis machining centers. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
Welder - 4/10 Swing Shift:
Duties will include TIG welding of light gauge iconel sheet metal parts and some aluminum. 2 years TIG welding aerospace experience and/or training. Must be able to pass weld certification to AWS D17.1 and BAC5962. Vision must meet Jaeger2 or better per optometric guidelines.
Maintenance Technician - 4/10 Day Shift:
Maintenance Technician with electrical and mechanical control knowledge. Duties include performing repairs, inspections and installing equipment on CNC machines and other metal forming equipment. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years' experience with controls including Siemens 840D and Fanuc 16 & 18 series and experience working on Cincinnati, Mazak, Hass, Komo, Kasuga and Matsuura CNC machines.
Toolmaker - 4/10 Day Shift:
Responsibilities include:
- Determine methods required to build tools, types of materials to use, and what machines will be required to manufacture tooling.
- Design and manufacture mill fixtures, drill jigs, assembly jigs, blanking dies, weld jigs, and various other tools for CNC machining, sheet metal, and assembly.
- Perform re-work/fine tuning on "tool" to meet needs of manufacturing.
- Perform finish detail operations and rework on production parts and assemblies.
Preferred experience:
- Use saws, milling machines, (Bridgeport Ez-Track), lathe, surface grinder, drills, de-burring tools, hones and various other hand tools.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Mathematical aptitude
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, dial indicators, bore gauges, height gauges and calipers.
- High school diploma or (GED); and three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Quality Assurance Administrator
The ideal candidate will be exceptionally organized and detail oriented. You will also thrive in a fast paced environment.
Position Requirements:
- Excellent data entry skills
- Create AS9102 FAI (First Article Inspection) templates
- Basic math skills
- Type 40 wpm
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- MS Office (word, excel and access)
- Detail oriented
- 1+ year experience data entry and reading and understanding drawings
Preferred experience:
- Exposure to Geometric Dimensioning and Toleranceing
- Aerospace experience
- “Discus” Software knowledge a plus
Maintenance Mechanic
Responsibilities include:
- Perform custodial work in the offices, warehouse, industrial areas and building interiors and exteriors
- Preventative maintenance
- Follow work instructions in a safe and timely manner
- Individual will also participate in projects and programs in order to support safety, quality and productivity goals
Position Requirements:
- Read and interpret work instructions, drawings, specifications and blueprints
- Ability to operate manual and power hand tools, as well as electrical measuring instruments
- Operate machinery necessary to complete these tasks, such as forklift, manlift, and small cranes
- Lift 20-50 pounds
- Individual will be required to work with limited direct supervision, work independently or in a team environment
- 2 years’ experience in a Manufacturing Maintenance position
Preferred experience:
- Prefer previous instruction or experience in hydraulics, pneumatics & electrical
Scheduling Data Administrator
To be successful in this position you will be extremely detail oriented and have an exceptional level of accuracy. The environment is fast paced with time sensitive deadlines.
Responsibilities include:
- Sales and change order data entry
- Use external systems to pull orders: Exostar and ESIS
- Validate accuracy of orders
Position Requirements:
- Extremely detail oriented
- High level of accuracy
- 1 year - 10 key entry
- 1 year - Proficient in Excel and MS Office
- 2 year’s - customer service data/sales entry
Preferred experience:
- Worked in a Manufacturing environment
- MRP experience
- Vantage experience
Lean Deployment Specialist - 4/10 Day Shift:
The successful candidate will have a passionate commitment to continuous improvement, execution and results. S/he will embrace this as an opportunity to “make a mark” in transforming a smaller, autonomous, fast-paced organization into a lean benchmark.
Position Requirements:
- Five-plus (5+) years experience in practical application and implementing Toyota Production System, Lean Manufacturing, or similar operations system, with particular emphasis on mixed model flow and “job shop” transformation to synchronous/cellular manufacturing (aerospace, automotive or durable goods preferred).
- Working knowledge of scheduling multi-machine FMS cells for mixed-model lower-volume production, including implementing “lights out” production.
- Working knowledge of implementing visual scheduling and pull/Kanban systems.
- Working knowledge of interfacing Lean production systems with the company’s ERP system (Vantage preferred).
- Working knowledge of job shop product and job costing, inventory costing, and their impact on the P&L.
- Demonstrated capability to work with managers, supervisors, leads and operators to teach, implement and reinforce Lean concepts, with working knowledge of organization change management principles. Practical, hands-on coach, teacher, and implementer.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with ability to measure progress and implement corrective action to maintain schedules; accountable for results.
- Computer literate with demonstrated experience using analytical applications and Microsoft Office products.
- Formally trained in Lean/Six Sigma by an industry recognized/reputable source (Shingijusu, Moffitt, … ).
- Bachelor’s degree in technical or business discipline preferred.
