5/8 Day Shift is Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:30pm
4/9 + 1/2 Shift is Mon-Fri 7:00am-4:30pm & Fri 7:00-11:00am
4/10 Day Shift is Mon-Thurs 5:50am-4:20pm
4/10 Swing Shift is Mon-Thurs 4:15pm-2:45am
3/12 Weekend Shift is Fri-Sun 5:00am-5:30pm
Machinist - 4/10 Swing, 3/12 Weekend Shifts
Minimum 2 years’ experience with set ups, operations and troubleshooting of 3, 4, or 5 axis machining centers. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
Tig Welder - 4/10 Swing Shift
Job Duties:
- TIG welding of light gauge iconel sheet metal parts and some aluminum.
Job Requirements:
- TIG welding of light gauge iconel sheet metal parts and some aluminum.
Must be able to pass weld certification to AWS D17.1 and BAC5962. Vision must meet Jaeger2 or better per optometric guidelines.
Manager, Program Management - 4/9 + 1/2 Shift
In this position you will provide direction and hands-on leadership for Giddens program managers, in support of customers, and the company’s overall business plan.
To perform this job successfully, the individual must lead through example, use strong communication and team building skills to effectively build customer relationships, and manage complex time-critical projects.
Job Duties:
- Manage all aspects of assigned program(s) to meet contract obligations and achieve targeted profit margins.
- Maintain excellent communications with customers. Monitor customer satisfaction. Identify opportunities for new or follow on programs. Act to ensure renewal of the program contract.
- Communicate program status accurately and in a timely manner. Identify any impediments to achieving program objectives and resolve.
- Work in concert with Scheduling and Production Control to determine manufacturing capabilities/capacity.
- Administer program contracts and negotiating any modifications to the same.
- Be the focal point for quoting activity, coordinating the proposal effort to achieve on time bid completion.
- Maintain the Giddens Sales Funnel
- Monitor, and assign customers to balance work load of program management group
Job Requirements:
- 5-10 years Program Management experience with previous management experience.
- MRP experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- Proven abilities in team building skills.
- Demonstrated interpersonal relations to effectively lead team efforts.
- Plan, organize, and prioritize work.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to make/implement effective decisions.
- Excellent communication skills verbally and in writing.

- Working knowledge of airframe specifications, expectations, etc.
- Understands machining operations and supporting processes.
- Basic cost accounting knowledge through experience or training.
- Travel up to 5-10% to customer locations
Preferred Experience:
Manufacturing Process Specialist - 4/9 + 1/2 Shift
Job Duties:
- Work with all levels of the organization to define lean manufacturing processes on existing and new statements of work.
- Experienced in defining processes for: one piece flow cellular manufacturing, Kanban systems, and 5-S for optimal manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Create work instructions and standard work for machining and assembly processes and train staff to standard work.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, defining economical order quantities, and visual scheduling practices.
- Refine tooling for manufacturing and assembly sequences.
- Works with operations on capital equipment requirements for process improvements.
- Works with Quality to ensure that all approved processes are adhered to per customer engineering and specifications. (Ref. Boeing, Goodrich, Airbus, specifications)
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a machining manufacturing environment with recent experience in process improvements.
- Your experience would be in an aerospace machine parts environment using lean principles.
- Ability to interpret a wide variety of commercial and aerospace, detail parts, assembly drawings, parts lists, and process specifications from a diverse customer base. Extensive knowledge of tolerances and drawing interpretation per ASME Y14.5
- Working knowledge of tool design and applications for machining.
- Basic knowledge of aerospace finish processes, shot peen, anodize, cad plating, painting.
- Basic understanding of materials and machining practices for titanium, aluminum, steel alloys, and high nickel materials. An understanding or the heat treating processes.
- Proficient at Microsoft Office suite of software. (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Preferred Experience:
- Vantage experience preferred
Handformer - 4/10 Swing Shift
Required Experience:
- 1 to 2 years of experience in Handform including set-up and operation of shrinker and stretcher machines and the use of hand tools.
- Must have a working knowledge of sheetmetal parts drawings and specifications.

Assembler - 4/10 Swing Shifts
Job Duties:
- Assemble metal parts, either partially or completely, either working at bench or assembling on shop floor.
- Fastening parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners
- Remove small quantities of metal with zip gun and scrapers to fit parts
- Operate drill presses, punch presses, or riveting machines to assist in assembly operation
Preferred Experience:
- 1 year experience assembling parts, preferably aerospace.
Parts Cleaner - 4/10 Day Shift
Job Duties:
- Clean and wipe down aluminum parts with acetone.
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Bracket Cell - 4/10 Swing Shift
Job Duties:
- To Deburr, Drill, Ream and Assemble parts for aerospace applications.
Job Requirements:
- Must have good mechanical aptitude.
- Aerospace blueprint reading skills
- Good math skills
Preferred Experience:
ATA Drill - 4/10 Day Shift
Job Duties:
- To use Drill Jigs to Drill and Ream parts for aerospace applications.

Sheet Metal Mechanic - 4/10 Day Shift

- 6 months sheet metal experience in the following areas:
Brake Form, Punch Press, Roll Form and Saw/Shear
- Aerospace blueprint reading skills
- Good math skills
Preferred Experience:
Router & Saw Operator - 4/10 Swing Shift
Job Duties:
- To Saw and Shape parts for aerospace applications.
- You will work in Shape / Saw2 area of the sheet metal department.
Job Requirements:
- 6 months sheet metal experience in the following areas:
Router, Saw or Shear
- Aerospace blueprint reading skills
- Good math skills
Preferred Experience:
Punch & Saw/Shear Operator - 4/10 Swing Shift
Job Duties:
- To Blank, Saw and Shear parts for aerospace applications.
- You will work in the sheet metal department.
Job Requirements:
- 6 months sheet metal experience in the following areas:
Punch Press and Saw/Shear
- Aerospace blueprint reading skills
- Good math skills
Preferred Experience:
Deburr - 4/10 Day Shift
Job Duties:
- Deburs and smooth parts according to work orders
Job Requirements:
- Familiarity with using power tools
- Good hand eye coordination
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with tumbler, table mount grinder, orbital sander, burr quick, and a drill press
